Whether it’s interviewing people, writing stories, or hosting Dieusita’s warm presence and upbeat personality is always felt when entertaining an audience. As a current student of SUNY Old Westbury, Dieusita is in pursuit of a Bachelors of Art degree in the field of Media and Communications. Upon graduation Dieusita wants to pursue a career in the entertainment industry as a reporter, covering and highlighting fashion, gossip and music news. In 2012 and 2013 she was the recipient of the Media Arts Celebration (MAC) Awards at her college in the category of best creative news package. She has demonstrated her abilities to work as a well-rounded reporter both in front and behind the camera by taking on different roles in order to tell a story. She credits her credits her creativity to her mother, grandmother and mentor who inspire her to work hard on a daily. She also looks up to several anchors such as former news reporter/talk show host and now owner of her own network Oprah Winfrey, National correspondent for NBC News and NBC's Today and anchor for MSNBC and host of the program News Nation, Ms. Tamron Hall and Former freelance reporter for CNN, contributing business anchor/reporter for Reuters Television and now NY1 news business anchor/reporter Mrs. Diane King Hall. Dieusita always strives hard to portray the stories of the people who don’t have a voice. “ I want to be able to capture the raw essence of emotions that people bring to a story and help them convey it the best way I know how,” says Dieusita. When she isn’t focusing on reporting she enjoys spending quality time with her family and the people she loves the most.
